Color a statistic by its value
Draw a figure in a color when it falls in a range you choose, so loose and tight players stand out at a glance.
A VPIP of 48 should jump out at you without your having to read it. Color rules let you split a statistic into bands, such as under 15, 15 to 35 and 35 and above, and give each band a color. Whenever a player's figure lands in a band, it's drawn in that color.
Open the HUD Editor and pick the statistic
Click HUD Editor on the rail, then click the statistic in the Stat library (it doesn't have to be on the panel yet). Its details open on the right under Properties.
Start your bands
Under COLOR RULES you have two ways in:
- Start from the catalogue fills in PokerLens's own idea of where this statistic stops being ordinary, ready for you to recolor or move. It is grayed out for statistics that have no such bands, such as hands played.
- Add a band adds one empty band to fill in yourself.
Until you add a band, the list under COLOR RULES shows PokerLens's suggested bands for reference only; they don't color anything.
Set where each band starts and ends
Each band has a From and a To box. Type percentages as you'd say them: 35 means 35%. Leave From blank to mean "everything below", or To blank to mean "everything above".
- Gaps are fine. You can color only the top of the range; figures outside every band are drawn in the normal color.
- Bands can't overlap. If two bands cover the same figures, PokerLens says Two bands cover the same figures. and keeps your last valid set until you fix it.
Pick each band's color
Click the swatch at the start of a band and choose one of the 16 colors. They're the same colors as on the Color Markers screen, so a whale's VPIP can match a whale's marker exactly. Remove a band with the × at the end of its row.
Decide whether to wait for enough hands
By default, figures are colored from the very first hand. If you'd rather not see a strong color on a figure from three hands, tick Wait for a reliable sample: that statistic then stays uncolored until it rests on enough hands to be reliable. The box appears once the statistic has at least one band.

Where the colors appear
The same colors are used everywhere the statistic is drawn:
- the panel at the table;
- the rows of the popup, and the cells of its rack;
- the panels in the Hand Replayer.
The preview in the Popups window is always uncolored, because no real player is behind it.
Things to know
- Rules belong to the statistic, not the profile. A statistic that's on four profiles is colored the same way on all four, so you only change it once.
- Nothing is colored until you say so. A new installation draws every figure plainly.
- A dash is never colored. A player you have no hands on shows no figure, so there's nothing to color.
On a positional HUD, the color follows the figure for the player's current seat, so a button VPIP of 45 is judged on its own.
