Install PokerLens
Download PokerLens, run it for the first time and start your 30 days of Pro.
PokerLens runs on Windows. Getting it takes a free account on the website, and making that account starts your 30-day Pro trial straight away — no card and no license key needed.
Make an account on the website
Go to pokerlenshud.com and press Start free trial or Download for Windows. If you are not signed in, you are taken to Make an account.
Enter your email and a password (at least eight characters, with a capital letter, a lowercase letter and a number), then type it again. If you have a promo code, add it in Promo code (optional).
Your trial starts when the account is made, not when you install. If you sign up today and install next week, your 30 days are counted from today.
Enter the code from your email
The website emails you a short code. Type it in to confirm your address. If it doesn't arrive, check your spam folder or press Send another code (you can ask for a new one once a minute).
Download the installer
As soon as the code is accepted, you are taken to your account page and the download starts. If it doesn't, or you need it again later, press Download again on your account page.
Run the installer
Open the file you downloaded and let it finish. PokerLens opens when it is done. While it starts, you see a short splash screen — Opening your database…, Drawing the window… — and then the main window opens on the Dashboard.
Check your trial
Each time PokerLens opens during the trial, a Your free trial notice says how many days you have left. Every Pro feature is yours until it ends. Press Continue to carry on, or Manage license to open your license settings.
Sign in with your account
Click the account card at the bottom of the rail and choose Profile. Sign in with the email and password you used on the website. PokerLens then picks up the license your account holds, so your trial, and later your subscription, follow you. See Sign in to PokerLens.
If your computer is offline the first time you open PokerLens, you still get 30 days of Pro on that machine. Sign in whenever you are back online.
Set up your poker sites
PokerLens can only track hands from sites it knows about. Go to Settings › Poker sites and set up each site you play — see Set up your poker sites. If you already have a history in another tracker, bring it in too: Import from PokerTracker 4 or Import from Hand2Note or DriveHUD.
What happens when the trial ends
When your 30 days are up, PokerLens doesn't delete anything. Your hands, notes and settings stay where they are, but the HUD is paused and a notice asks you to update your license until you subscribe. Small Stakes, Pro and your trial explains each license.
Updates
PokerLens checks for new versions each time it opens. If one is waiting, it shows you an Updates window where you can take it now or later. See Keep PokerLens up to date.
If it doesn't work
- No code email: check spam, then use Send another code. After five wrong codes, the account is locked for 15 minutes.
- "This account has had its free trial": each account gets one trial. Subscribe on the website to keep using PokerLens.
- Anything else: see If something goes wrong or contact support.
