Replay a hand
Step through any hand on a drawn table, with all known cards, in big blinds, with your HUD, or as text.
The Hand Replayer plays a hand back on a drawn table, one action at a time, so you can see exactly how it went. It opens in a window of its own beside the main PokerLens window.
Send hands to the replayer
The replayer plays the hands you send to it. You can send them from almost anywhere PokerLens lists hands:
- Session — click Replay on a hand's row to open just that hand, or Open in replayer under the table to open every hand the table is showing.
- Marked Hands — double-click a row, or click its replay button.
- Reports — open a hand from the hand report, or from the hands behind a figure.
- Your notes and the HUD popup — click a hand shown there.
You can also open the window from Hand Replayer on the rail. If nothing has been sent yet, it says No hands to replay.
Pick a hand from the list
The Hands panel on the left lists the hands you've sent, in the order you sent them. Each shows the hand number, your result, your cards, the board, when it was played and the stakes. Click one to show it on the table. The heading above the table shows the hand number, the table name, the stakes and when it was played.
Step through the hand
Use the buttons under the table:
- |◀ and ▶| jump to the first and last step.
- ◀ and ▶ go back or forward one action.
- Preflop, Flop, Turn and River skip to the start of that street. A street the hand never reached is dimmed.
Beside them you'll see the Step you're on, the current street, and a sentence describing what just happened. Bets slide in front of each seat and are gathered into the middle at the end of a street, with the Pot under the board.
Choose how to look at it
Click the cog at the top right to open Ways of looking:
- Show all known cards — turns every card PokerLens knows about face up from the first step, so you can see what your opponents held.
- Show in BB — shows every stack, bet and pot in big blinds instead of money, so hands at different stakes read the same.
- Show the HUD — draws your own HUD over the seats, with the same profiles, markers and figures you see at the tables. This is the read you had at the moment you made your decision.
Click anywhere else to close the list.
Read it as text
Click View history as transcript to see the hand written out street by street, in the style of a poker site's own hand history. Click View table to go back to the drawn table. The cog isn't available while the transcript is showing — the transcript always shows the money as the site wrote it.
Take a note or change a marker from a seat
Right-click a player's seat (or their HUD panel) to:
- set their Marker (for example Regular or Whale),
- Note this hand — start a note tied to this hand, as it stood at the step you're on,
- Add a note about the player in general,
- open their Notes….
Right-click the table, or a hand in the list, and choose Share hand… or Share all these hands… to send hands to a friend or coach as a link. See Share hands with a link.
If it doesn't work
- The window says No hands to replay. Send a hand to it from the Session, Marked Hands or Reports screen first.
- Opponents' cards are face down. Turn on Show all known cards. Cards only appear if the site showed them, for example at showdown.
- The HUD takes a moment to appear. Show the HUD looks up every player in the hand in your database the first time you turn it on.
