Find a player
Type part of a screen name and open that player's statistics, notes and showdowns.
You can look up anybody you have played with from any screen in PokerLens, using the search box at the top of the rail.
Go to the search box
Click Search players… at the top of the rail, or press Ctrl+K from any screen. If the rail is collapsed, click the magnifying glass.
Type part of their screen name
Start typing. Any part of the name works. A list drops down under the box with up to eight players, each with their site and screen name. The closest matches come first: the whole name, then names that start with what you typed, then names with a later word that starts with it, then names that contain it anywhere. When two match equally well, the player you have met more often comes first.
If nobody matches, the box says Nobody goes by that name.
With a very large database, the first search after PokerLens opens can take a moment. While it waits, the box says Reading the players in your database…. Searches after that are instant.
Open the player
Click a name in the list. The player opens in a window of their own, above the main window, so you can keep it open while you go on playing or reviewing. Each player gets one window. If you look up someone whose window is already open, that window comes to the front.
Read what you know about them
The player's window shows:
- Their HUD panel, as your tables show it.
- Their site and how many of their hands are tracked, and how much you have won from them, lifetime.
- Six key figures: VPIP, PFR, 3B, WTSD, W$SD and AF, counted across every hand of theirs you have seen.
- Notes: everything you have written about them. Press Add note to write a new one. See Write a note from the felt.
- Showdown hands: every hand of theirs that went to showdown, with their cards and the board. The hands you played against them are marked YOU.
Other ways to find a player
