See a range on the chart

How-to Updated 8 Oct 2026

Draw your range, or what a pool showed down, at one spot on the 13 × 13 hand chart.

The Chart report draws the 13 × 13 hand matrix for any spot you set — pocket pairs on the diagonal, suited hands above it, offsuit hands below. Use it to answer "what do I actually play from the big blind against a button open?", or to see which hands a group of opponents turned over in a spot.

1

Open the Chart

Go to Reports on the rail and choose the Chart tab. Pick Cash or Tournaments beside the tabs. The filter bar applies here as on every report, so you can narrow to a site, a stake or a period first.

2

Choose whose range to draw

At the top right is the Hero range switch:

  • On (where the chart starts) — your own hands. Every hand you were dealt is counted, because your own cards are always known.
  • Off (Multi-Player) — the players the Multi-Player report is set to, and only the hands they showed. A pool bar appears so you can change who is in the pool right here. See Study how a pool of players plays.
3

Set the spot on the action line

The action line above the matrix is the same one the Multi-Player report uses, and a spot you set on either tab is followed on the other. Press the actions in order — for example BTN › Raise, then BB › Call — and add flop, turn and river cards if you want a particular board. Press an action again to take it back off.

The heading tells you whose range you are looking at, for example BB's range. It is always the seat whose action is last on your line. With no line set, the chart shows Every seat and counts a hand as played when you called, raised or went all in with it before the flop.

4

Choose what the cells show

Next to Cells show, choose one of:

  • How often — how often you took the last action on the line when you had that hand at that decision. (Your own range only.)
  • How often it gets here — of the times you were dealt that hand, how often it reached the spot. (Your own range only.)
  • How often it's shown — how often the pool turned that hand over in the spot. (Multi-Player only.)
  • What it won — how much the hand won or lost from the spot, in big blinds per 100 hands. Losses are shaded in the loss color.

The legend under the matrix runs from never to always, and the count beside it shows how many hands the chart is drawn from — for a pool, "shown hands over N players".

A pool's chart can never show how often a hand was folded or called, because folded cards are never seen. That is why How often is only offered for your own range.

5

Point at a hand, then click it

Point at any cell to see how it was played: how many hands it is over, what share of all hands that is, how often each action was taken, and what it won. Click a cell with hands behind it to open them in a panel on the right, where you can replay any of them in the Hand Replayer.

Things to know

  • The chart remembers the Hero range switch and your Cells show choice while PokerLens is open.
  • If you choose a Cells show option the current range cannot answer, the chart falls back to one it can.
  • For your overall tendencies by position with a range beside them, see Check your tendencies on the Statistics screen.
