Switch a table to another HUD
Make one table draw one profile at every seat, without changing your other tables.
Normally each seat shows the profile its player's color marker is linked to (see Give each kind of player a HUD of their own). Sometimes you want something different at just one table, such as a detailed profile for a tough game or a light one for a table you're only watching. The switch at the top of each table does that without touching your other tables or your HUD Editor settings.
Find the switch at the top of the table
Along the top of the table, beside the RNG, there's a small icon. Its tip reads Which HUD this table draws.
The switch appears only when you have more than one profile. With a single profile there's nothing to switch to.
Click it and choose a profile
Click the icon with the left mouse button. A list of your profiles opens, with a check next to what the table is drawing now. Pick the profile you want.
The table redraws straight away, even in the middle of a hand, and the profile's name now appears next to the icon. That name is your reminder that this one table is being read differently from the rest.
Go back to normal
Click the icon again and choose Follow the markers, the last line in the list. Every seat goes back to the profile its marker is linked to, and the name next to the icon disappears.
What changes and what doesn't
When a table is switched:
- Every seat draws the chosen profile, your own included. If you don't want your own panel at all, turn off Show my own HUD under Options in the HUD Editor.
- The colored edge still shows each player's marker, so you can still tell the whale from the regular.
- Each street still shows that profile's panel for the street, so switching on the turn shows the turn layout.
- A click opens the chosen profile's popup.
- Your other tables are not affected.
Things to know
- A switch lasts only as long as the table. When the table closes, or PokerLens restarts, the table goes back to following the markers.
- Edits show up at once. If you change and save the profile a table is switched to, that table redraws with your changes.
- Deleting the profile puts the table back to following the markers.
- Profiles you install from the Market appear in the list like any other. See Share statistics with statistic packs.
If you find yourself switching every table the same way, change which profile the marker is shown for in the HUD Editor instead.
