Follow your session
See tonight's result, every hand you played and every player you met, while you play.
The Session screen follows the session you are playing right now. Each hand is added as soon as it finishes, on every table and every site at once. Click Session on the rail to open it.
What counts as a session
A session starts with your first hand and goes on for as long as you keep playing. If you stop for more than an hour, your next hand starts a new session. Shorter gaps, like a quick break between tables, stay part of the same session.
The figures at the top
The bar across the top shows the figures your session is judged by:
- NET RESULT: what you have won or lost, in the money you played for. Tournament play, or play in more than one currency, is shown in big blinds.
- HANDS: how many hands you have played.
- ALL-IN EV: what you would have won if every all-in pot had paid out by your equity, compared with your actual result.
Below them are three more panels:
- WIN RATE THIS SESSION: how fast you are winning, measured over the hands you were dealt into.
- NON-SHOWDOWN (RED LINE): what you have won or lost in hands that ended before showdown, with your showdown result and hand count underneath.
- TIME AT TABLES: the time from your first hand to your latest. Four tables played for an hour count as one hour.
A figure PokerLens can't measure yet is left blank rather than shown as zero, so a blank never passes for a real result.
Hands where you were sitting at the table but not dealt in, such as while waiting for the big blind, count toward HANDS and TIME AT TABLES, but not toward your result or win rate.
Session results
The Session results graph draws your session as three running totals, one step per hand:
- Chips won (green): your net result.
- Showdown (blue) and Non-showdown (red): the two halves of it, split by whether the hand reached showdown.
Showdown money climbing while non-showdown money falls means you are paying to see cards. The opposite means you are taking pots by betting.
Hands this session
Every hand you played is listed with your CARDS, your position (POS), the BOARD, how the hand played out street by street (LINE · % OF POT, with each bet shown as a share of the pot), who you played against (VS) and your NET result. The newest hand is at the top. The key under the list explains the letters used in the line.
Use the buttons above the list to narrow it: All, Won, Lost, Showdown or Marked.
- Replay a hand: press Replay on its row to open that hand in the replayer. To step through every hand the list is showing, press Open in replayer below it. See Replay a hand.
- Mark a hand: right-click a row and choose Mark hand, then Review, Bad hand, Good hand, Value or Bluff. On a marked hand, the same menu has Mark as reviewed and Unmark. Marked hands also appear in Marked Hands on the rail. See Mark hands to review.
Players
The Players panel on the right lists the people you have played with, with their hand count and their VPIP, PFR and WTSD. Choose who to list:
- At my tables: players sitting with you right now.
- This session: everyone you have met tonight.
- All players: everyone in your database. The first time, PokerLens reads them all, which can take a few minutes with a large database.
Type in Search any player… to narrow the list by name.
Click a player to open the details: their HUD panel, how much you have won from them, their VPIP, PFR, 3B, WTSD, W$SD and AF, your notes on them with Add note, and every hand of theirs that went to showdown. The hands you played against them are marked YOU. This is the same view the rail's player search opens. See Find a player.
