Set up your HUD
Build your HUD from start to finish - choose the statistics, lay out the panel, color the figures, add bars by position and design the popup a click opens.
Your HUD is the panel PokerLens draws beside every player at your tables. You design it in the HUD Editor, and nothing you change there reaches your tables until you press Save. This walks you through a whole panel, from the first statistic to the popup a click opens.
Open the HUD Editor
Click HUD Editor on the rail, under MAIN. A new installation has one profile, Default HUD, already selected in the Profile band. A profile is one complete HUD design. You can keep several and show each to a different kind of player — see Give each kind of player a HUD of their own.
Choose the street you are laying out
The Preflop, Flop, Turn and River tabs above the canvas pick which street you are editing. A profile can show a different panel on each street. A street with no panel of its own shows the panel of the street before it, and the editor tells you so (for example Showing the Preflop panel). To give that street its own panel, press Add a panel. It starts as a copy of what the street was already showing.
Add statistics to the panel
The Stat library on the left holds every statistic. Type in the search box or press a category chip (Preflop, Flop, Turn, River, Custom) to narrow the list. Then either:
- drag a statistic onto the panel and drop it where you want it, or
- click it to see it under Properties, then press Apply.
Statistics already on the panel carry an IN HUD badge. To move a figure, drag its cell to a new place on the panel. To take one off, click it in the library and press Remove stat. A panel always keeps at least one statistic.
Need a statistic the library doesn't have? Press + New stat to write your own. See Write your own statistic.
Set how many figures sit on a line
On the canvas, Narrower and Wider change how many figures the panel puts on one line (shown as 3 across, for example). Use fewer for a tall, narrow panel down the side of a seat, or more for a long one along the rail.
Color the figures
Select a statistic and use COLOR RULES under Properties to draw its figure in a color you choose when it falls in a range, such as VPIP over 40 in red. See Color a statistic by its value.
Add bars or a heat map to a statistic
Drag the From every seat chip onto a statistic on the panel. At the table, hovering that statistic then shows it at every position the player has played. Drag the Heat map chip onto a statistic instead to see a hand chart. See See a statistic from every seat.
Choose the popup a click opens
The Popup dropdown picks which popup opens when you click this profile's panel at a table. Press + next to it to design popups in the Popups window, or × to open none. If you have only one popup, every profile opens it. See Design a popup.
Save
Press Save. Your open tables redraw with the new panel straight away.
The Options menu (the gear) holds three settings for the whole HUD: Show my own HUD, Show on hover only and Collapse on fold. They take effect at your tables as soon as you tick them, without pressing Save.
